Welcome to Happy Scribbles, Inc., our Publishing and Distributing Department
My name is Gladys Jimenez, President of Happy Scribbles, Inc. Our publishing department began on January 3, 2008. I enjoy reading every day. As a matter of fact, I love reading so much that by my bed stand there are at least 20 books, on a wide range of subjects, waiting for me to read.
For as long as I can remember, I always wanted to write a book. At the end of December 2007 I felt it was time to take action. No more excuses! I began to read everything I could about the process of publishing a book. I compared traditional publishing, print-on-demand and self-publishing through my own Publishing house.
I am a current business owner. Having my own Publishing house seemed like the best choice for me. I made a guide-line from my numerous notes, and took the first step into publishing my book.
In the past I had put off writing my book because it felt overwhelming. How could I fit a life time of experiences into one book? To make the writing of my book less overwhelming, I decided to write down the most important things I had learned along my journey in life, into simple messages. I felt that I could then take these simple messages, and expand them into chapters.
When I was done writing my list of what I had learned I realized that these simple messages were really powerful. There was no need to expand on them at all. This is how “Feel Good Thoughts” was created. This little book came from the heart with the mission to help others love themselves. Once the first step was taken to publish it, although it was a lot of work, everything fell into place.
I am still learning the Publishing business. My intent is to publish books that inspire, encourage and help you feel better about yourself. Also to distribute products that will enhance your life.
In a time were we only seem to hear about what is wrong in our world, I want to highlight what is good. To do my share, Happy Scribbles, Inc., will donate to a non-profit organization a percentage from the sale of every book it publishes. I want to ask you to join me as I start a new chapter in my life. I am publishing an E-news. Through the newsletter, not only will I provide an inspirational article, I want to keep in touch with you.
Help me create a place were we can share our dreams, celebrate our successes, and make a difference. I plan to create a blog in the near future for more interaction with you, my visitors. For now, you can start by subscribing to the newsletter.
