This book is a collection of essays from every day life. We get busy, days fly by, and we sometimes miss the important aspects of our own life, the moments and experiences that give our life meaning.

We can all benefit from reading these essays as they remind us about the little things in life that are important. It is those little things we need to pay attention to and embrace.

Ed McShane's perspectives in each essay reclaim a sense of humor, sentiment, and warmth.

"Ed McShane did a great job of connecting to people through his essays on the KPBS web site.  Ed's thoughts were valued by many readers because he is both insightful and kind.  He isn't afraid to reveal his thoughts and emotions, and that creates a bond between Ed and his readers."
